Scuderia Ferrari was founded in 1929, and raced for Alfa Romeo until 1939. Enzo Ferrari gathered a team which, at its peak, included over forty drivers who piloted a wide variety of Alfa Romeo racers.
Included in this Gift Set is an Alfa Romeo 6C 1750. The 6C name (used on road, race and sports cars from 1925 to 1954) refers to the straight 6 engine. Over its production life, the 6C engine grew from 1.5 liters all the way to 3.5 liters... though that largest engine was a one-off. Bodies to these cars were made by coachbuilders such as Zagato, Touring, and Pininfarina.
