Exoto Tifosi is proud to offer our first commissioned dioramas, hand crafted by the renowed Eduardo Dagostino!  Naturally, all the secrets behind his highly treasured masterpieces cannot be revealed, but it's not technique that makes these Limited Editions truly unique.  Each is made by hand, starting with a detailed racing car.  Dagostino works his magic to the subject... this is where the terms Spaccato and Battuta come from.

Spaccato is the art of opening or disecting the model to reveal it's inner workings.  Dagostino performs a flawless surgery that exposes delicious details while somehow preserving the lines of the normally fully clothed race car.

Battuta is the way in which Dagostino gives the diecast metal body of the race car a patina that reminds us of the hand-beaten aluminum bodies that these cars carried in real life. He does this by carefully and precisely hammering the metal body as only a true artist can.

The focus then shifts to completing the scene, typically placing the race car in the workshop, surrounded by tools and paraphenalia that need to be seen to be appreciated.

Each Limited Edition will be available while supplies last.  Don't delay!
